Dental implants are changing the way people live! They are designed to provide a foundation for replacement teeth which look, feel, and function like natural teeth. The person who has lost teeth regains the ability to eat virtually anything and can smile with confidence, knowing that teeth appear natural and that facial contours will be preserved.

Immediate Load Implants

Now you can receive an immediate load and go home with your new tooth the same day.

The goal in developing the one-piece, same-day Tooth Replacement System has been to simplify the procedure of tooth replacement and address many of the problems associated with alternative treatments such as fixed bridges, partial and full dentures and conventional implants.

The challenge: simplify the product, simplify both placement and restoration procedures, shorten the time between treatment and function, and provide a more stable, esthetically pleasing and stronger end result. Benefits you can appreciate and value.

Tooth replacement alternatives in practice today often require both patient and dentist to consider compromises in treatment that either damage healthy adjacent teeth, compromise esthetics, result in poor function with unsatisfactory oral hygiene, require complex maintenance, or have reoccurring problems requiring further treatment and/or repair.

Perhaps you are facing tooth replacement choices for the first time. If so you most likely want to invest in a treatment that maintains both oral health and appearance.

The Phenomenon of Osseointegration

When teeth are removed, Mother Nature assumes there is no further need for the bone that supported them. Over time the bone slowly, yet progressively diminishes. This process, called resorption, occurs when even a few teeth are missing. Esthetics are affected, function is compromised and bone continues to be lost. With a dental Product implanted in the bone, a process begins, known as osseointegration. This is the process during which the living bone in your jaw begins to form a biological bond with the titanium of the implant.

Until now, the implant process (averaging 6 to 8 months to complete) took two surgical procedures, a lengthy wait for tissue to heal, multiple follow-up visits with the surgeon and a complex restorative process with the General Dentist to finally have a final crown.

The Procedure

In many cases, can be placed directly through the gingival tissue with the use of a local anesthetic, similar to having a tooth filled. No surgery to open the gum tissue. No extended recovery time for the tissue to heal. Once the implant is placed in the bone of the jaw, your dentist will proceed with a traditional restoration procedure, which is familiar and commonly used. No complex tools, no additional parts, no specialized techniques. The same day, following placement of the implant, you will have an appointment with your General Dentist, who will fabricate a temporary prosthesis. This allows you to immediately enjoy the esthetic and functional benefits of the implant. The implant will feel very secure, yet care should be exercised the first few weeks to aid the healing process.

You will return to your General Dentist after three to four weeks for an appointment to check the tissue health and for impressions from which the final crown will be fabricated.
