Reconstructive Surgery
Reconstructive Surgery is necessary when a patient has either an acquired or developmental defect. Reconstruction can be as simple as bone graft to an alveolar socket or alveolar ridge for placement of dental implants to as complex as reconstructing a mandible or maxilla for cancer or gunshot injuries. Surgery is usually done to restore both form and function. Depending on the specific problem, an appropriate treatment plan can be devised. If you have a need for reconstruction of the head or neck, please do not hesitate to contact our office.
